Red Loverly

I just finished the Cobblestone sweater and it looks amazing... I still need to block it but it fits great already and folks at Borealis Yarns (Tuesday knit night ladies are my friends!) thought it look good too. I really cherish my time at Borealis and get excited every Tuesday when I know that I'll be going to see what everyone is working on AND get helpful feedback on my projects. I feel so comfortable and have such a great time discussing the "hot topics" of the evening.

G and I...

G and I went to the largest municipal park today to take some photos of my Hourglass Sweater from Last Minute Knitted Gifts and found this little guy... The pics of the sweater went pretty well but G needs a photography class or two before he goes pro. I'm currently working on Jared Flood's Cobblestone sweater. I have a few hours left of knitting and then the finishing but it's near completion. I am excited to wear it this fall.

My first post!

I have wanted to create a blog for some time now but haven't had the know how or the time to develop one. Until a good friend Katie, who is not totally technologically literate, told me it was super simple using this site. She gave me the courage to give it a try. In addition, I was invited to join Ravelry last week so I've been adding photos to Flickr. My techie knowledge is skyrocketing so I decided it was time to get my blog going too.
Check out my previous fiber work on my Flickr account (username JFibers) and I'll have posts of my future work here and on Ravelry under Greenlady. Look at the great knitting postcard I found....
