My dear niece had a dance recital last night and I was lucky enough to be able to attend. It was so cute. She's such a doll. That's her in her most favorite color- purple!!!!

My good friend Kathy hosted a fun filled day of egg batik call Pisanki. Anyone reading this post knows all about this fun filled day because you were most likely there! Hee hee. I had a blast and when I returned home to check out my pics, I found a special surprise. Apparently Kala thought I needed loads of extra pics on my camera. Spring Fling

Have you ever seen anyone on skis go water skipping? It's pretty funny! Every year at Afton Alps they hold a Spring Fling event where they celebrate the last weekend of skiing. My brother and I have gone just about every year for the past ten years and it's always an enjoyable event. This year Grant was the proud owner of new ski boots and went along with us to test them out. Our skiing was uneventful but the water skipping was a blast.

A co-worker sent me this cartoon and I thought it was very fitting considering this is my weekly schedule. Yoga on Mondays, Knitting on Tuesdays....

Learn something new..

Remember when I borrowed that Canon 30D?? Well, the teacher that I borrowed it from told me today that I should definitely buy a card reader when I buy a camera. He said that if I use the cable to download the photos from the camera each time, this causes damage to the camera... Just wanted to let you know what I learned today. Did you learn something new today?

Slippers

My auntie Bonnie has cold feet. She has always had cold feet. BUT with these loverlies I'm hoping the cold will decrease and the hotness increase. I know spring is on its way but who said this blog had to be posted in chronological order? I mean really, random posts are so much more fun... they make a puzzle out of my life and leave you trying to figure out what the heck I'm talking about... hee hee.

I was reading KnitingIris blog and she had made a SweetPod baby carrier. This is such a cool carrier. If I had a baby, one can only hope, then I would definitely want one of these bad boys!

Christmas Knits 2009

I have so many knitting buddies that I thought Christmas 2009 was the year for giving. Since I just recently gave the last one to its recipient, I can finally blog about them... Aren't they super cute?? The pattern I used was Minutia with Nature Spun. I like each of them for different reasons but I think my favorite one is the red one with blue trim and blue flowers with green french knots. That was a new experience for me- embroidery after knitting. Fun stuff!

Baby Sweater

In September, I made a cute sweater for my cousin's new baby. Looking at the pictures now, I really like the sweater but it's the background that I'm longing to see. Check out those beautiful flowers. I can't wait until the rest of the snow melts and those loverlies pop out again.

Weekend Fun

Grant and I sometimes spend the weekend in Hutchinson. This past weekend we used our much appreciated gift voucher to the Victorian Inn. Mom and Arnie give such great Christmas gifts. I am thinking of purchasing a new camera and borrowed a similar one from a co-worker. It was great fun to have a digital SLR in my hands. I can't wait to get one of my very own. These photos are from the Cannon 30D. Can you tell the quality is amazing?
