Question of the day: If all the other appliances in your kitchen are black, do you have to buy a black fridge to match? Because Best Buy is having a sale and there is no fridge in the new house.... I'm not sure how I feel about black appliances.... any suggestions?

i always thought that they had to match, but on HDTV they said that they don't-plus a fridge is a really big appliance so you should pick the color you want :) maybe red????
we have all stainless appliances, and a black fridge. I think they are interchangeable, except that the black is cheaper. You def. don't want a white fridge. They also make fake stainless--it's a finish that looks like stainless but is easy-care and cheaper. We had that in MN. So I say, black or fake stainless. :-)
i meant to say, you don't want white unless everything is white. that's the time when you can't mix and match.
Um, I have an orange kitchen with a black stove and a beige fridge, so you might not want to take my advice....but do what you want! Get what you like and make no apologies
Get what you want, if you're happy with how it looks, then it's perfect!
I forgot to mention that the dishwasher is white and the stove is a black countertop thing and the black oven is in the wall with a black microwave above it... It's all a little weird.... oh well!
